The CLOA Executive are keen to hear from members who have experience and knowledge of the key issues facing the culture and leisure sector in this challenging time for local government.

As the sounding board to national agencies such as Sport England, the Arts Council, the National Archives and Local Government Association, our advisors are required to provide feedback, expert views and contribute to reports on behalf of CLOA.

Advisors may also be requested to represent CLOA at events/briefings, to respond to consultations on behalf of CLOA and act as peers helping other members who may be looking for advice and support.

Being an advisor means being part of a virtual team – a resource that the CLOA Executive can draw upon when an ‘ask’ comes in.  It requires a time commitment of a few hours a month.
