We will be opening booking for event next week, so keep a look out for your email invite!

This year the event will seek to understand the impact of the pandemic on people with disabilities and long term conditions, exploring the role of local authorities in providing opportunities where people can flourish.

We have secured an inspirational line-up of speakers for you:

  • Baroness Grey-Thompson
  • Jo Verrant MBE Director, Unlimited
  • Dr Heather J. L. Smith, Equality Specialist, National Trust
  • Anne Torreggiani, Chief Executive Officer, The Audience Agency

As part of the event there will be a showcase of how members have been providing new opportunities for people with disabilities/long term conditions to participate in a broad spectrum of culture and leisure activities.

We will also be offering a choice of ‘Strategic Snapshot’ sessions from partners including Libraries Connected, The National Archives, VisitBritain, Richmond Group of Charities/Activity Alliance and NHLF highlighting how their work relates to the topic.

And there will even be an opportunity to catch up with CLOA colleagues over your lunch by choosing a virtual table to join!
