This roundtable explored how culture, heritage and active wellbeing can strengthen identity, resilience and pride in place within the Government’s Pride in Place (PiP) Programme.
Hosted by Grant Taylor, a CLOA Executive member and Assistant Director – Community and Leisure at Basildon Borough Council, which is a developing phase two PiP area.
The session featured an introductory address about the aims of the PiP programme from Ed Hickey, Senior Policy Lead at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. Presentation here.
