Wayne Hemingway, Hemingway Design, talked about the unique role of culture and creativity in place making using examples of places that are seeking to improve social mobility, life expectancy and grow their local economy in innovative ways.
Sarah Mears, Programme Manager, Libraries Connected explored how the public library system, plays a crucial role within communities : – particularly in areas of low cultural engagement, supporting children in their early years and harnessing talents and aspirations that have a lasting impact on life chances.
